Relief Support Worker

Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking a Relief Support Worker to join our team. As a Relief Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to adults with a Learning Disability, enabling them to maintain their independence, skills, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support and assistance to service users, promoting life skills development and planned activities.
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Support Workers and Team Leader to ensure the day service is working towards its vision.
- Support and, on occasions, deliver sessions in line with the session plan, both in the building and in the community.
- Complete personal care and administer medication, as required.
- Use IT to update documents such as support plans, risk assessments, and have a good working knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and assessments of capacity.
- A commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion principles and anti-discriminatory practice.
- A good understanding of equal opportunities, person-centered approach, and diversity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as IT skills.
- Able to demonstrate commitment to the organization's values and principles.
