About the Role

Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking a Relief Support Worker to join our Disability Services team. As a Relief Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to adults with learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and care to adults with learning disabilities in a variety of settings, including the community and in our centre.
  • Work as part of a team to deliver person-centred care and support, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and medication administration, as required.
  • Use IT systems to update records and complete assessments, including the Mental Capacity Act.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to providing person-centred care and support.
  • Able to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with service users and colleagues.
  • Proficient in using IT systems, including Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
