Field Service Technician

Permanent Position Offering:
Salary of £28,000 / 40 hours per week / Monday to Friday (Out Of Hours rota + Overtime available)

Location:
Bristol / Gloucester / Swindon

We are currently in search of a Field Service Technician to support our client, a frontrunner in the latest

Electric Vehicle Charging Solutions, Intelligent Parking Systems, Stadium Security Technologies, and Electronic Road Signage.

The Field Service Technician will focus on their Electric Vehicle Charging product line.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with the installation and ongoing maintenance; performing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), implementing updates including Operating System upgrades, conducting tests, and ensuring all equipment is fully operational and clean for public use.


The Field Service Technician must reside in the Bristol / Gloucester / Swindon regions, possess prior experience in a field-based role, have a foundational understanding of electrical systems, and hold a valid FULL UK driving license.


Field Service Technician Experience & Skills Required:
- Proven experience in servicing, maintaining, and installing electrical equipment.
- Competence in fault diagnosis.
- Background in a Field Service position.

This role involves working on an Out Of Hours (OOH) rota, with appropriate compensation provided.

- Ensure that all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is safe, complete, and properly utilized.
- Maintain your vehicle, tools, spare parts, and equipment in a safe and functional condition.

Field Service Technician Essential Requirements:
- A valid FULL UK driving license is CRUCIAL.
- Basic electrical knowledge.
- Basic Networking / PC skills.
- Proficient English and Mathematics skills.

Desired Qualifications:
- CSCS or ECS card.
- Electrical qualifications are advantageous.
- Experience with Electric Vehicle Charging equipment.
