Position: Service Engineer
Type: Permanent role with a competitive salary of £28,000, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Out Of Hours rota and overtime opportunities available)
Location: Bristol / Gloucester / Swindon

We are currently looking for a Service Engineer to work with our client, a prominent provider of cutting-edge Electric Vehicle Charging solutions, Intelligent Parking Systems, Stadium Security Technologies, and Electronic Road Signage.
The Service Engineer will focus on the EV Charging product line, assisting with installation and ongoing maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), executing system updates, conducting tests, and ensuring all equipment is fully operational and clean for public use.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct servicing, maintenance, and installation of electrical systems.
  • Perform fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
  • Engage in field service operations.
  • Participate in an Out Of Hours (OOH) rota, compensated accordingly.
  • Ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) is safe and properly utilized.
  • Maintain vehicle, tools, spare parts, and equipment in safe and usable condition.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Full UK driving license is mandatory.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with networking and PC operations.
  • Proficient in English and Mathematics.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • CSCS or ECS certification.
  • Electrical qualifications are advantageous.
  • Experience with EV Charging equipment is a plus.
