Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Line Up Aviation. As an Electrical Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of deliverable hardware and maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of electrical connections and assemblies to verify correct installation and functionality.
  • Examine the finish of all parts to detect any defects or irregularities.
  • Perform intermediate inspection checks to ensure compliance with product certification requirements.
  • Monitor operators within the product certification scheme to ensure adherence to procedures.
  • Verify and certify all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack.
  • Raise and maintain relevant data records and non-conformance reports.
  • Produce inspection and quality control documentation, including history sheets.
  • Care for and utilize specialized inspection tools.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable procedures and regulations.
  • Meet inspection time targets and maintain a high level of productivity.

Requirements:

  • Approved apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Vocational G or H Units with further education, City & Guilds Parts 1, 2 & 3, or equivalent.
  • Vocational TR23 Units with further education, ONC or City & Guilds Parts 1, 2 & 3, or equivalent.
  • Vocational NVQ3 with further education, BTEC ONC/HNC, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in electrical inspection and testing.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Environment:

This is a 12-month contract position, and the successful candidate will be required to work on-site at our facility.
