E-Commerce Trading Manager

Are you a seasoned digital commerce professional looking to drive growth and innovation in a fast-paced environment? We're seeking an E-Commerce Trading Manager to join our GB Direct to Consumer team at Dyson GmbH.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead the strategic direction of our digital business, managing the performance of our UK Dyson website and Dyson Outlet Stores from a technical, commercial, and experiential perspective. You'll work closely with our Head of Ecommerce to devise and deliver e-commerce growth strategies, identify optimisations needed in each category, and monitor our out of stock and site search reports.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Trading:
    - Develop and implement e-commerce growth strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.
    - Collaborate with trading managers and senior analysts to identify optimisation opportunities and implement changes to improve performance.
    - Monitor campaign performance and incremental units driven by optimisations, A/B tests, and enhancements.
    - Ensure site health by working with the Ecommerce Executives to address out of stock and site search issues.
  2. Collaboration:
    - Align site performance and content with our media strategy, working closely with the Digital Media team to understand key drivers and opportunities for optimisation.
    - Develop a seamless customer journey by working with group and regional teams, as well as local teams.
  3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    - Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of merchandising strategy and campaigns across GB&I.
    - Use data from Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Medallia to identify opportunities and risks, and take decisions to optimise based on learnings.
  4. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, promoting professional development and skill enhancement.
  5. Experience of multiple content management systems and ecommerce engines; sound working knowledge of A/B testing methodologies, practices, and analysis.
  6. Project management skills, able to organise priorities and work efficiently to deadlines.
  7. Previous experience in digital and eCommerce, preferably in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
  8. Fluent in English; additional language skill beneficial.
