We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Unit/Ward Manager to lead and manage a ward in a Good Nursing Home in a specialized environment. This full-time role involves overseeing the daily operations of the ward, ensuring high-quality patient care, and leading a team of nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily management and coordination of nursing services, ensuring seamless care delivery.
- Ensure the delivery of high standards of care for patients with respiratory needs, including those requiring ventilation and tracheostomy care.
- Manage patient admissions, discharges, and care plans, prioritizing patient-centered care.
- Provide leadership to the nursing team, ensuring appropriate staffing and rota management, fostering a safe and supportive environment.
- Liaise with patients' families, ensuring clear communication and support throughout their care journey.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in nursing management within a healthcare setting, preferably in critical care environments.
- Valid & Clear NMC Pin (RGN/RMN/RNLD)
- Expertise in Critical Care
- At least two years of leadership experience, including managing staff rotas and supervising nursing teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and their families.
