Ward Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Ward Manager to join our team at Service Care Solutions Ltd.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the ward team to deliver high-quality care to patients with acute mental health presentations. This will involve monitoring and maintaining high standards of care, recognizing the value of effective communication and developing therapeutic relationships, and contributing to Clinical Governance and improving quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the ward team to deliver high-quality care to patients with acute mental health presentations.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of care, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and policies.
- Recognize the value of effective communication and develop therapeutic relationships with patients, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to Clinical Governance and improve quality standards through effective incident review and lesson learning.
- Act as a clinical supervisor and ensure that all staff participate in clinical supervision.
- Experience of management and leadership, prioritizing key tasks in relation to your sphere of work.
- Be a site Safeguarding Lead, having cases allocated to investigate and support vulnerable people to be kept safe.
Requirements:
- Someone who has a real passion for caring and helping people.
- Ideally 1 year's experience as a Ward Manager or 10 years as a RMN/RNLD.
- Current and valid Pin.
- Ability to work on shift/rota pattern.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
About the Service:
The Hospital provides acute inpatient care for both male and female patients aged 18 years and over who require assessment and/or treatment for mental health difficulties. The Hospital aims to provide a safe, caring, supportive, and therapeutic environment for 22 patients with acute mental health presentations in order to help them recover and return home as quickly as possible.
