Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Makeup Artist to join our team at Pat McGrath Labs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional one-to-one service to our customers, using your expertise to inspire and exceed their expectations.

The Opportunity

  • Provide expert application of Pat McGrath Lab cosmetics products from everyday looks to special events
  • Assist clients with product knowledge, makeup applications, and purchases with the brand and throughout the store
  • Maintain specialized product knowledge and reinforce Pat McGrath application techniques with your team
  • Accountable for achieving sales goals and maintain consistent and regular appointment bookings
  • Analyze sales and create strategies with management to consistently meet and exceed goals
  • Share your knowledge to provide our customers with exceptional and personalized service
  • Work as part of a team focused on creating a memorable customer experience
  • Manage customer feedback and use it constructively to continually raise the bar for service, sales, and retail standards
  • Adapt to the challenges that vary from day to day
  • Use your natural curiosity to stay ahead of the latest trends
  • Own the planning and delivery of in-store events
  • Be confident to lead masterclasses and trainings
  • Replenish stock as needed and keep testers and counter clean and attractive
  • Ability to build a clientele and a loyal repeat customer base

Qualifications

  • Experienced Lead Makeup Artist with a minimum of 3 years' experience
  • Ability to perform high-quality makeup applications that align with the brand service menu
  • Confidently connects artistry and education to sales
  • Social/digital portfolio of work with significant following preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current beauty trends and latest products
  • A great communicator
  • Well-informed
  • Known to be a sales and service expert
