Job Title: Senior Makeup Artist

About the Role:

As a Senior Makeup Artist at Flannels, you will be responsible for providing exceptional one-to-one service to our customers, using your expertise in Pat McGrath Lab cosmetics products to inspire and exceed their expectations. You will possess a real passion for beauty and delivering a world-class client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert application of Pat McGrath Lab cosmetics products from everyday looks to special events
  • Assist clients with product knowledge, makeup applications, and purchases with the brand and throughout the store
  • Maintain specialised product knowledge and reinforce the Pat McGrath application techniques with your team
  • Accountable for achieving sales goals and maintain consistent and regular appointment bookings
  • Analyse sales and create strategies with management to consistently meet and exceed goals
  • Share your knowledge to provide our customers with exceptional and personalised service
  • Work as part of a team focused on creating a memorable customer experience
  • Manage customer feedback, and use it constructively to continually raise the bar for service, sales and retail standards
  • Adapt to the challenges that vary from day to day
  • Use your natural curiosity to stay ahead of the latest trends
  • Own the planning and delivery of in-store events
  • Be confident to lead masterclasses and trainings both one to one and to a group
  • Replenish stock as needed and keep testers and counter clean and attractive
  • Ability to build a clientele and a loyal repeat customer base
  • Understand and follow health, safety and security procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all store policies and procedures
  • Champion our company culture and values

Requirements:

  • Experienced Lead Makeup Artist with a minimum of 3 years' experience
  • Ability to perform high quality makeup applications that align with the brand service menu
  • Confidently connects artistry and education to sales
  • Social/digital portfolio of work with significant following preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current beauty trends and latest products
  • A great communicator
  • Well Informed
  • Known to be a sales and service expert
  • Flexible
  • A confident coach, and self-driven to upskill and learn
  • Able to work retail hours on a 20h part time basis
