Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Childcare Assistant to join our team at Nuffield Health Gloucester FWC. As a Childcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a safe, secure, and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and psychological development of children.
  • Develop and implement engaging play-based activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and a cohesive approach to childcare.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress, including observations, assessments, and developmental milestones.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest childcare legislation, best practices, and research.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a childcare environment, preferably with a focus on early years education.
  • Qualifications in childcare, such as NNEB, NVQ Level 2/3, or BTEC, are essential.
  • Possession of EYPS (Early Years Professional Status) and Paediatric First Aid certifications is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A passion for creating engaging and inclusive learning experiences that promote children's growth and development.
