About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Apprenticeship Tutor who is dedicated to shaping the future of early childhood education. This role involves mentoring aspiring educators and young learners, equipping them with essential skills and knowledge to succeed in their careers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visits to apprentices in nursery or school environments.
  • Evaluate and track apprentice progress, offering constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Create and implement personalized learning plans tailored to individual apprentice needs.
  • Assist apprentices in achieving their qualifications and enhancing their professional capabilities.
  • Collaborate with employers to ensure that apprenticeship training meets workplace expectations.
  • Stay informed about industry standards and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of apprentice progress and accomplishments.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant qualifications in early years education (e.g., Early Years Educator, Level 3 or above).
  • Qualified teacher status.
  • Experience in an assessor role.
  • Assessor qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in early years education, ideally in a teaching or training capacity.
  • Strong understanding of the early years curriculum and apprenticeship standards.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to inspire and motivate apprentices.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage a caseload of apprentices.
