Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Assessor to join our team at Protocol National Limited. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the development of early years professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and support learners in the following apprenticeships: Early Years Practitioner (Level 2), Playworker (Level 2), Early Years Educator (Level 2), Teaching Assistant (Level 3), and Early Years Lead Practitioner.
  • Manage a caseload of 35 learners and 45 after probation has been passed.
  • Provide both remote and on-site support to ensure learners achieve their qualifications.
  • Conduct skills reviews with apprentices and employers to identify gaps.
  • Develop and implement individualized training plans.
  • Maintain candidate records and perform workplace observations.
  • Deliver high-quality training, including functional skills, to meet awarding body standards.
  • Assess skills and behaviours, providing feedback via the ePortfolio system.
Requirements:
  • An Assessor's qualification.
  • A qualification in Early Years.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role.
  • Access to a car for travel.
Additional Opportunities:
  • Nursery Managers / Early Years Teachers interested in transitioning into an assessors role are encouraged to apply. Our company is offering training to achieve the Assessor's qualification while on the job.
  • All Nursery Managers / Teachers who would like to apply must have at least a Level 5 in Early Years and at least a year's experience being a Nursery Manager.
