Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Support Specialist to join our team at James Fisher and Sons plc. As an Office Support Specialist, you will provide administrative support to our office operations, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients and stakeholders
- Manage and maintain accurate records and files
- Assist with purchasing and procurement processes
- Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries
- Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry and document preparation
- Collaborate with the workshop team to ensure seamless operations
- Support the wharf manager and product line director in their duties
- Maintain accurate stock control and inventory records
- Provide holiday cover and support to the team as needed
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be proficient in Microsoft Office and have a basic understanding of accounting principles.
