Job Summary:

Marc Daniels is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Take full responsibility for the Account Receivable function, managing customer payments and invoices.
  • Complete daily bank reconciliations, verifying transactions and ensuring accuracy.
  • Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records, maintaining up-to-date financial records.
  • Prepare and process electronic bank transfers and payments, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
  • Ensure payments are up to date, maintaining a high level of financial discipline.
  • Produce customer statements and prepare sales rebates, providing excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to commute to the office, 5 days a week.
  • Must have experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of financial procedures.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Proficient IT skills, with experience in financial software and systems.
  • Able to handle multiple duties and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of organization and time management.
