About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Workplace, Health and Safety team at Amazon. As a key member of our Operations network, you will play a critical role in driving improvements in workplace health and safety across our Fulfillment Centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of professionals to ensure compliance with local Health and Safety legislation and maintain high standards of workplace health and safety.
  • Analyze data reports and root causes to provide leadership with the information needed to make informed safety-related decisions.
  • Provide guidance and arrangements for health and safety projects and policies, driving a culture of safety and inclusivity across the organization.
  • Develop and implement programs to improve the safety culture in Amazon, fostering a culture that revolves around operating safely.
About the Team

The CF team is the first point of contact for customers, helping to manage dynamic inventory and facilitate speedy deliveries around the clock. We work with physical products and analyze data to help the business make smart decisions.

Requirements
  • Education to a degree level and additional qualifications to an NVQ5/NEBOSH Diploma level.
  • Relevant experience managing a team and complying with local Health and Safety legislation.
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English.
  • Experience with Lean, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies, as well as qualifications or experience in the field of sustainability.
  • Chartered membership of a Human Resources industry body.
