We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Buyer to join our team at Zachary Daniels. As an Assistant Buyer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Senior Buyer in creating compelling ranges across various home and furniture categories.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Contribute to the product development process, ensuring that it meets customer requirements and team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Support the Senior Buyer in making informed decisions while adhering to the critical plan.
  • Analyze and evaluate the overall performance of the product areas assigned to you.
  • Work closely with the Senior Buyer to drive sales and profitability through effective negotiations with suppliers.
  • Manage critical path and day-to-day communications effectively with suppliers.
  • Confidently raise concerns to the Senior Buyer to ensure team success.
  • Stay ahead of the market and competitors through competitor analysis, proactively identifying trends and product opportunities.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum of two years of experience operating at a similar level, preferably within online retail or homewares.
  • Strong organizational skills, highly commercial, and a real passion for home and furniture products.
  • A driven and self-disciplined individual who can work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel into London as and when needed.
  • Great collaboration skills with the ability to quickly build effective relationships cross-functionally, namely with the Design team and Marketing team.
