Job Title: Buyers Admin Assistant

Crew Clothing Company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Buyers Admin Assistant to join our Buying Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our critical path processes, sample management, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the critical path and department processes to ensure all information is up-to-date and accessible by other teams.
  • Coordinate sample requirements for the buying department, including press, wholesale, and photo samples.
  • Prepare product reviews, ensuring that all samples are set up when required.
  • Compile styling and trims details for the catalogue, proofread with the buyer before going to press.
  • Collate catalogue information between Garment Tech, Merchandising, Marketing, and Buying, ensuring the document is completed on time.
  • Assist in fit sessions, provide administrative support, and competitive shopping trips to develop and understand the current market place.
  • Take comprehensive notes in meetings when required, update and file all product data requirements, and maintain style information and cost prices on the Range plan and Futura.
  • Manage sample invoice process, undertake development or project work set by the buyer, and assist in general team administration.
Requirements:
  • General administration experience.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Experience in Excel and Word.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a work schedule while working to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to initiate and build strong relationships with suppliers and other department members.
  • Team work.
  • Understanding of the buying function and critical path processes.
  • Previous buying administration experience.
