Job Title: Buyers Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Buyers Assistant to join our team at Crew Clothing Company. As a Buyers Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Buyers in all aspects of the critical path, sample management, and administration management for the department.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the Buyers in managing the critical path and department processes to ensure all information is up to date and readily accessible by other teams.
* Ensure all style details are inputted to the range plan on time and accurately.
* Manage and coordinate sample requirements for the buying department, including press, wholesale, and photo samples.
* Chasing in all samples to meet deadlines.
* Prepare product reviews, ensuring that all samples are set up when required.
* Manage product storage for the department.
* Compile styling and trims details for the catalogue, proof read the catalogue with the buyer before going to press.
* Collate the catalogue information between Garment Tech, Merchandising, Marketing, and Buying, and ensure that the document is completed for the deadline.

Requirements:

* General administration experience.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication and organization skills.
* Experience in Excel and Word.
* Ability to prioritize and manage a work schedule while working to tight deadlines.
* Ability to initiate and build strong relationships with suppliers and other department members.
* Team work.
* Understanding of the buying function and critical path processes.
* Previous buying administration experience.
