As an Assistant Buyer within the Mobile team, you'll be working with market-leading brands. This role will be responsible for managing the range at SKU level and collaborating closely with the Buyer, Senior Buyer, Merchandising, Online and GTM teams to drive sales and profitability of the category.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships in line with the category strategy
  • Monitor the competition to ensure competitive pricing
  • Analyse trading performance and provide recommendations to drive business growth
  • Support the Buyer and Senior Buyer in negotiating product ranges – cost pricing, additional terms, exclusivity, distribution, stock availability
  • Pricing the product range in line with agreed category CPI targets
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Organised, analytical and numerate with good judgment
  • Strong commercial awareness and a sense of customer needs
  • Marketing/Merchandising/Retail/Business Degree
  • Excellent Excel and Microsoft Suite skills
