Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior ESG Business Analyst to enhance our Asset Management operations, particularly within our business change and consulting sector. This pivotal role demands extensive experience in the regulatory landscape, specifically in ESG matters within the asset management domain, and the ability to oversee and drive substantial programs from feasibility analysis through to successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage the overarching implications of ESG and other regulatory transformations, collaborating with stakeholders to optimize and drive project delivery.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable advisor, structuring visions and ideas while conducting feasibility studies to shape comprehensive business cases.
  • Lead a team of Business Analysts, providing direction, support, and managing prioritization and escalations effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Architecture team to devise innovative and scalable solutions for regulatory changes.
  • Evaluate business processes against the strategic operating model, identifying areas impacted by regulations.
  • Analyze data flows, applying data management principles and conducting thorough data analysis as necessary.
  • Document current and future operating models, integrating processes, organizational structures, technology, and information themes using various business analysis methodologies.
  • Define high-level business requirements, mapping out relevant Epics and User Stories to facilitate delivery while identifying opportunities for reuse and value streams.

Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in ESG programs within business change in an investment management context is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record in designing strategic operating models in relation to ESG regulations and data.
  • Extensive background in regulatory programs within the investment management sector is advantageous.
  • Experience in conducting feasibility assessments and developing structured business cases is essential.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a team of Business Analysts is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills, utilizing recognized tools and techniques.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, design, and defining target operating models.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and contributing to or creating business cases is beneficial.
