Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior ESG Business Analyst to become a vital part of our Asset Management sector, specifically within our business change and consulting division. This role demands extensive experience in the regulatory landscape, particularly in ESG matters within the asset management sector, and the ability to oversee and drive significant programs from feasibility studies to implementation and completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recognizing and managing the overarching implications of ESG and other regulatory transformations while proactively collaborating with stakeholders to optimize and facilitate workstream execution.
  • Serving as a knowledgeable advisor and consultant, structuring visions and ideas, and conducting feasibility assessments to shape business cases.
  • Leading a team of Business Analysts, providing direction, support, and managing escalations and prioritization proactively.
  • Collaborating with the Architecture team to discover innovative, effective, and scalable solutions to address changes.
  • Assessing business processes related to applicable regulations against the strategic operating model and identifying impacted processes.
  • Evaluating data flows, applying data management principles, and conducting comprehensive data analysis as necessary.
  • Documenting current and future operating models, incorporating processes, organizational structures, technology, and information themes through various business analysis techniques.
  • Defining high-level business requirements, mapping out relevant Epics and User Stories to support delivery, identifying reuse opportunities, and recognizing suitable value streams.

Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in ESG programs within business change in an investment management organization is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in designing strategic operating models related to ESG regulations and data.
  • Extensive background in regulatory programs within the investment management sector is preferred.
  • Experience in conducting feasibility studies and developing structured business cases is essential.
  • Prior experience in leading a team of Business Analysts is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply a structured approach to analysis and documentation using recognized tools and techniques.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, design, and defining target operating models.
  • Familiarity with Agile/iterative delivery and contributing to or creating business cases.
