Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior ESG Business Analyst to become an integral part of our Asset Management sector, specifically within our business change and consulting division. This pivotal role demands extensive experience in the regulatory domain, particularly concerning ESG within the asset management landscape, and the ability to oversee and drive substantial programs from feasibility studies through to execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recognizing and managing the overarching implications of ESG and other regulatory transformations while proactively collaborating with stakeholders to optimize and facilitate workstream delivery.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor and consultant, capable of structuring visions and ideas, and conducting feasibility assessments to shape comprehensive business cases.
  • Leading a team of Business Analysts, providing direction, guidance, and support while proactively managing escalations and prioritization.
  • Collaborating with the Architecture team to devise innovative, effective, and scalable strategies to address regulatory changes.
  • Evaluating business processes in relation to applicable regulations against the strategic operating model, identifying impacted business processes.
  • Analyzing data flows, applying data management principles, and conducting thorough data analysis as necessary.
  • Documenting current and future operating models, integrating processes, organizational structures, technology, and information themes through various business analysis methodologies.
  • Defining high-level business requirements, mapping out relevant Epics and User Stories to support project delivery, while identifying opportunities for reuse and appropriate value streams.
Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in ESG programs within business change in an investment management context is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in designing strategic operating models in relation to ESG regulations and data.
  • Extensive experience in regulatory programs within an investment management organization is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting feasibility studies and developing structured business cases.
  • Previous leadership experience with a team of Business Analysts is highly desirable.
  • Evidence of a systematic approach to analysis and documentation, utilizing recognized tools and techniques.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, design, and target operating model definition.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and contribution to the creation of business cases.
