Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Manager to join our Engineering Team at PACC in Birmingham. As a key member of our Management Team, you will be responsible for leading and managing your team to ensure efficient work throughout.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the technical aspects of the role and a thorough understanding of our processes and procedures. This position provides a great opportunity for the right individual to demonstrate their ambition, drive, and passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage your team to achieve business objectives and improve productivity
  • Report monthly on workflow, team performance, and management of the Region
  • Identify and handle projects requiring the Regional Manager's level of experience and knowledge in accordance with current standards and statutory requirements
  • Liaise with our HR department on recruitment, appraisals, and HR matters
  • Carry out responsibilities in line with your technical role as a Chartered Structural Engineer
  • Contribute to our company's marketing objectives, targets, and initiatives

Requirements:

  • Must be iStructE or ICE Accredited
  • Experience and detailed working knowledge of our department's practices and procedures, supported by an awareness of the latest statutory requirements, technical publications, and guidelines
  • Experience of managing a team of people to meet KPIs and productivity levels
  • Experience in delegating tasks and project management
  • Enthusiastic and committed to leading a team to achieve business objectives
  • Good time management skills and solid organizational skills
  • Specialist skills and knowledge relevant to the role, including negotiation, supervisory, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and within budgets
