Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Structural Engineer to join our team at Shorterm Group. As a key member of our Building Structures business, you will be responsible for the efficient and compliant delivery of all structural engineering design on our projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead and technical design delivery of projects
  • Day-to-day management and support of technical structural engineering staff
  • Collaborate with the Lead Project Engineer and Project Manager to ensure project success

**Requirements and Qualifications**

  • Working towards 'Chartered Engineer' status
  • Formal training review with a relevant professional Institution or a suitably experienced mentor
  • Experience in large energy transmission and distribution projects (advantageous)
  • Effective communication and inter-personal skills
  • Ability to write reports, summaries, and presentations
  • Knowledge of REVIT Structure and company structural software packages
