This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of skill and expertise. The successful candidate will have previous experience in childcare, including ventilation care, tracheostomy care, and PEG feeding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to the young boy, including tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, and medication administration.
  • Monitor and maintain the young boy's medical condition, including tracking vital signs and reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Assist with the young boy's positioning and mobility, ensuring his comfort and safety at all times.
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the young boy, using communication techniques such as gestures, movements, and facial expressions.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the young boy receives the best possible care and support.
