About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at the Bell Hotel in Sandwich, Kent. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting our Head Chef, deputising in their absence, and assisting with the development of the kitchen team to deliver high-quality food service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Chef in the management of the kitchen and the development of the culinary team
  • Deputise for the Head Chef in their absence and take charge of the kitchen
  • Assist with the development of the kitchen team to deliver efficient and high-quality food service
  • Contribute to the creation of menus and specials boards
  • Ensure that all food is prepared to a high standard and presented in an attractive manner
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the kitchen
