About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at the Bell Hotel in Sandwich, Kent. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting our Head Chef, deputising in their absence, and assisting with the development of the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Chef in the management of the kitchen and the development of the culinary team
  • Deputise for the Head Chef in their absence and take charge of the kitchen
  • Assist with the development of menus and the implementation of new culinary initiatives
  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
