Job Summary

The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Medical Device Service support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal functioning of medical equipment across our hospital sites.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line support to users of medical equipment to optimize system uptime and maximize equipment utilization.
  • Collaborate with departments to maintain, repair, and manage medical equipment, including sub-contractor management.
  • Develop and implement long-term operational plans for cost-effective and efficient management of medical devices.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for medical device repair and maintenance, including downtime and system availability.
  • Work closely with clinical teams to provide insight into maintenance and repair progress.
