Lead Quality Assurance Engineer Role

Forseven, a prominent player in the electric vehicle sector, is seeking a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer to become a vital part of their Strategic Sourcing division. In this capacity, you will collaborate with forward-thinking professionals in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and select proficient suppliers for new automotive projects
  • Oversee component delivery into production utilizing Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) methodologies
  • Contribute to the design of components and manufacturing processes
  • Formulate sourcing strategies in partnership with engineering and procurement teams
  • Direct APQP initiatives for vehicle components
  • Ensure adherence to Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Manufacturing is preferred
  • Experience in a sophisticated manufacturing setting, with automotive industry experience being advantageous
  • Familiarity with TS16949/VDA standards
  • Experience with APQP tools and methodologies
