Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Strategic Sourcing team at Forseven, a leading company in the electric vehicle industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Selection: Identify and select capable suppliers for new vehicle programmes, ensuring they meet our stringent quality requirements.
  • Component Delivery Management: Utilize APQP tools to manage component delivery into production, ensuring seamless integration with our manufacturing processes.
  • Design Input: Provide input into component and manufacturing process design, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Sourcing Strategies: Collaborate with engineering and purchasing teams to develop sourcing strategies that meet our quality and cost objectives.
  • APQP Leadership: Lead APQP activities on vehicle components, ensuring timely and effective implementation of quality processes.
  • Quality Principles: Ensure that Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles are followed throughout the product development lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Manufacturing is preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a complex manufacturing environment, with a strong background in the automotive industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in TS16949/VDA requirements and experience with APQP tools and processes.
