Transforming the EV Industry with Innovative Quality Solutions

Forseven, a pioneering company at the forefront of electric vehicle technology, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to spearhead the development of cutting-edge quality management strategies. This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity, allowing the successful candidate to work alongside visionary minds in the automotive field and contribute to shaping the future of sustainable mobility solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the selection of capable suppliers for new vehicle programmes
  • Manage the delivery of new components into production using Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) tools
  • Provide significant input into the design of components and manufacturing processes
  • Develop and deploy sourcing strategies in collaboration with engineering development partners and purchasing teams
  • Lead APQP activities on vehicle components/sub-systems
  • Work closely with the engineering partner to ensure that Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles are followed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Manufacturing discipline highly desired
  • Experience in a complex manufacturing environment essential, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Must be highly experienced in TS16949/VDA requirements
  • Previous experience of the commodities within the remit of the role is desired but not essential
  • Experience with APQP tools and processes
