Senior Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our Neurodevelopmental Team in Bedfordshire CAMHS services. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialist mental health assessment and intervention to children and young people with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for children and young people with neurodevelopmental differences and mental health difficulties.
- Provide evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioural therapy and positive behavioural reinforcement, to support children and young people in achieving their goals.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and teachers, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
- Develop and deliver training and supervision to other team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in working with children and young people with complex needs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care and practice.

Requirements- Postgraduate (Doctoral) Training in Clinical Psychology leading to Practitioner Psychologist Registration with the HPC.
- Post-doctoral training in supervision.
- Experience of working with children and young people with complex needs, including neurodevelopmental differences and mental health difficulties.
- Experience of providing evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioural therapy and positive behavioural reinforcement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families.
