Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Hotel Receptionist. As a key member of our Front of House team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring the smooth operation of our reception area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times.
  • Provide a warm welcome to guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Collate and deliver accurate reports on various aspects of the hotel's operations, as requested by management.
  • Review and implement new best practices to improve our Front of House services, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
  • Administer tasks such as booking meeting rooms, arranging taxi requests, and managing post and deliveries.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues efficiently.
  • Monitor and maintain the back area, ensuring the fire exit is clear and safe.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of IT, with experience in using Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a range of styles and personalities.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering a high level of service to our guests.
  • Strong efficiency and self-motivation, with excellent punctuality.
  • Outgoing and proactive, with a 'can-do' attitude.
