We are seeking a talented Site & Facilities Lead Engineer to contribute to a significant redevelopment initiative within a prominent Aerospace & Defence organization. This role involves overseeing the transformation of facilities in preparation for advanced projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulating, implementing, and enhancing a comprehensive set of methodologies for Site, Facilities & Infrastructure initiatives, focusing on Requirements Management, Verification, and Validation.
  • Ensuring that all methodologies adhere to recognized industry standards and best practices, including ISO 15288 for Systems Engineering and the BSRIA Soft Landings Framework.
  • Offering technical guidance, mentorship, and support to Project Managers and Engineering Managers regarding the application of these methodologies.
  • Staying informed about industry advancements in Systems Engineering and Soft Landings, and determining how these can be effectively integrated into the organization’s Site Engineering practices.
  • Coordinating the collaboration of multi-disciplinary engineering teams and other stakeholders interfacing with the Asset Management System across various projects.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Systems Engineering methodologies for large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in Requirements Management and Handover/Acceptance processes.
  • A degree in a STEM field or a relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Expertise in design, engineering, maintenance, commissioning, handover, operational, and asset management processes.
  • Familiarity with capability development and management techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of systematic training principles.
  • Knowledge of Nuclear and Radiological engineering and related regulatory frameworks.
  • Familiarity with the BSRIA Soft Landings Framework or similar methodologies.
  • Membership in a recognized professional engineering organization (e.g., Chartered Engineer or Systems Engineering Professional).

This position is ideal for individuals with experience in large-scale site and facilities infrastructure projects within high-hazard industries such as Aerospace & Defence, Nuclear, Rail, Water, Pharmaceuticals, Oil & Gas, and Construction.

The compensation package includes a salary range of £56,000 to £61,000, along with a performance-related bonus of 10-20%.
