Global Sales Compensation Manager

We are seeking a high-achieving sales compensation manager with extensive experience in global sales strategy and consulting. This role involves leveraging data-driven insights to develop and enhance go-to-market (GTM) sales incentive plans across diverse teams. You will collaborate closely with the Director of Variable Incentives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize sales incentive programs that promote behaviors aligned with Expedia's Group GTM strategy, financial objectives, and core values.
  • Act as an internal advisor to business leaders and the executive leadership team on global compensation matters, including job role assessments, market-aligned pay structures, and best practices in sales compensation design.
  • Contribute significantly to GTM quarterly business reviews and annual sales compensation evaluations, assessing the effectiveness of sales plans in partnership with business leaders, revenue operations, finance, HR operations, and analytics teams.
  • Oversee the compensation and design change management process from initial concept through to execution.
  • Collaborate with HR and legal teams to formulate and document policies that govern sales incentive program rules and eligibility criteria.
  • Present modifications to Sales Plan Design and their impact on variable compensation to Workers Councils.

Qualifications:

  • Motivated, confident, persistent, and resourceful.
  • Over 7 years of experience in sales strategy or consulting.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage and present to senior stakeholders across sales, HR, operations, and finance.
  • Commercially astute, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while managing various projects.
  • Skilled in conducting complex analyses (including root cause analysis) utilizing multiple disparate data sources with large data volumes.
  • Passionate about data storytelling, delivering critical insights and messages effectively.
  • Proficient in tools such as Workday and Salesforce, with experience in sales compensation software.
