We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our enthusiastic team on Ward 3 (Surgical Day Case Unit). As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high standards of care to our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Admit patients for surgery and provide pre and post-operative nursing care.
  • Work collaboratively with experienced day case nurses and clinicians to deliver a safe and effective patient-focused service.
  • Under the supervision of the Ward Leaders, you will be responsible for the provision, organisation and direction of nursing care for patients on your ward.
Key Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with NMC pin and recent evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  • Experience in the relevant speciality, with a strong understanding of current clinical and professional issues.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain and improve standards of care, with a focus on patient safety and well-being.
