Job Title: Staff Nurse Gynaecology Unit

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Gynaecology Unit team at Wrightington Wigan & Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care, adhering to the highest standards of nursing practice and the Trust's policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care programs, under the supervision of senior nursing staff.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and respectful environment, upholding the Trust's values and promoting a positive work culture.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, fostering a culture of open communication and empathy.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and recent evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  • Experience in the relevant specialty, with a strong understanding of current clinical and professional issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain and improve standards of care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and positive approach to work.
