Job Responsibilities

The Colorectal Nursing Specialist will:

  • Ensure high standards of clinical care and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.

  • Communicate effectively within the multidisciplinary team regarding patient care.

  • Lead by example, fostering professional development among staff.
  • Supervise and train junior staff and students.

Essential Experience

Colorectal / Stoma Care

Required:

  • Experience in Lower GI specialty.

Preferred:

  • Oncology experience.
  • Two years in Lower GI specialty.

Surgical Experience

Required:

  • Direct patient care involving stoma management.

Preferred:

  • Stoma care qualification.
