Main Purpose of the Role

As an HR Graduate at Knights Pharmacy, you will play a crucial role in supporting our People Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of HR, from administrative tasks to payroll management.

You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes across our branches as we continue to grow and expand.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in all aspects of People Team functions, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
  2. Support the hiring and recruitment processes, including receiving and sorting CVs.
  3. Maintain and monitor HR databases and systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  4. Produce payroll reports, update Sage Payroll, and comply with HMRC regulations.
  5. Assist with timesheets, the time and attendance programme, and payroll processing.
  6. Report information accurately and efficiently to the People Team.
  7. Calculate Bradford Factor scores and communicate sickness absence stages to the People Team.
  8. Collate data to assist with the daily operations of the People Team.
  9. File and archive sensitive information in accordance with GDPR.
  10. Support in arranging training courses for all employees.
  11. Carry out any other duties as reasonably required, commensurate with the nature of the job and level of responsibility.

  1. Progress to HR Advisor or HR Officer roles, overseeing several branches and supporting HR scalability.
  2. Work towards becoming the HR Payroll lead, reporting directly to the board.
  3. Work towards achieving your Level 3 & Level 5 CIPD qualifications, with exemptions if you are not already operating at these levels.
  4. Gain exposure to branch operations and get a comprehensive understanding of our business.
  5. Participate in a Healthcare course (6 months) to obtain a formal qualification (NVQ 2 – Pharmacy Healthcare Assistant).
