We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Residential Services Coordinator to become part of a team focused on delivering exceptional housing management services. This role is offered on a full-time temporary basis, with an initial contract period.

The Residential Services Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring that local residents receive top-notch housing management support, helping them maintain their homes and enhance their quality of life.

As the primary contact for a designated area, you will be responsible for ensuring that the living conditions are well-kept and that residents' needs are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a high standard of housing management services, focusing on tenancy and leasehold management within the local social housing sector.
  • Provide guidance on safeguarding and health-related issues, covering a broad spectrum of topics such as housing, welfare rights, personal finance, and tenancy management.
  • Identify tenants at risk of tenancy failure and create support plans with measurable outcomes, conducting regular assessments to enhance the chances of maintaining their residence.
  • Maintain a systematic schedule of visits and inspections, identifying needs across the community.
  • Foster relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to address issues such as property access, tenancy fraud, fire safety, and safeguarding.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all casework in compliance with relevant policies and procedures, upholding confidentiality and data protection standards.

This position requires a comprehensive understanding of housing legislation and experience in public engagement. A full enhanced DBS certificate is mandatory for this role.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar capacity, such as a Residential Services Coordinator.
  • In-depth knowledge of housing laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience managing complex casework both in person and through written communication.
  • Ability to provide effective tenancy, housing, and leasehold advice, along with knowledge of best practices and compliance protocols.
