Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Job Overview:
Bennett and Game Recruitment is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and prepare financial reports, including cost estimates, invoices, and payment schedules.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to negotiate contracts, agree on payment terms, and resolve disputes.
- Provide expert advice on financial matters, including budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Full driving license.
- Strong financial knowledge of frameworks, schedules of rates, and contracts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical, financial, and numeracy skills.
- Strong IT skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits:
