Job Description

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Location: Office based, with site visits across East Anglia

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at a Main Contractor based in East Anglia. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and prepare financial reports, including schedules of rates and contracts
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to develop and implement financial strategies
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Full driving license
  • Sound financial knowledge of frameworks, schedules of rates, and contracts
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
