About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our Integrated Mental Health Team in Lichfield & Burntwood. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver planned recovery-focused care to a defined caseload, working collaboratively with other Trust services to provide seamless care.
- Work in partnership with external agencies to support service users access services in the independent and non-statutory sector.
- Deliver agreed therapeutic interventions to assist service users achieve their recovery goals, including improving activities of daily living, social inclusion, and mental health promotion.
- Undertake physical health assessments, including weight, height, blood pressure, ECG, and phlebotomy.
- Contribute to planning and delivering therapeutic activities with an identified group of service users as part of the care programme approach.

Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Advanced Apprenticeship in (Mental) Health and Social Care or NVQ Level 3 in (Mental) Health and Social Care with demonstrable evidence of numeracy and literacy skills (equivalent GCSEs or functional skills).
- Experience of working with people with Mental Health Needs non-Dementia related.
- Strong team-working skills.
- A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach.
- A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate.
- A commitment to high-quality care and values and evidence-based practice.
- Excellent teamwork skills, and professionalism.
