About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Mental Health Support Worker to join our Integrated Mental Health Team in Lichfield & Burntwood. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver planned recovery-focused care to a defined caseload, working closely with service users to identify and achieve their recovery goals.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of therapeutic activities, including group-based interventions and physical health assessments.
  • Work in partnership with external agencies to support service users' access to services in the independent and non-statutory sector.
  • Participate in reviews of service users' care and effectiveness of interventions provided.

Requirements

  • Advanced Apprenticeship in (Mental) Health and Social Care or NVQ Level 3 in (Mental) Health and Social Care with demonstrable evidence of numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Experience of working with people with mental health needs, non-Dementia related.
  • Strong team-working skills, self-motivation, and a flexible approach.
