Job Summary
Band 6 - Community Mental Health Clinician
We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team in the Mental Health and Social Inclusion Hub. As a Community Mental Health Clinician, you will work in an identified adult community mental health pathway, delivering high-quality clinical services to service users and their families.
Main Duties of the Job
- Manage a complex caseload and be responsible for clinical and caseload supervision of other team members where identified.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions, following an agreed care plan, to an identified group of people experiencing mental health-related difficulties.
- Operate as a care coordinator for a defined caseload of service users.

Person Specification
Qualifications
- Registered Mental Health Clinician and registered and active on NMC/HCPC register.
- Ability to use computers and other information technology as required.
Experience
- Have extensive post-registration experience.
- Have previous experience of working in the community with non-dementia related mental health.
Skills & Knowledge
- Have knowledge of current initiatives impacting on the service.
- Be able to lead on assessments by telephone confidently and competently.
- Can demonstrate the skills required to work within and across teams and professional boundaries.
