JOB TITLE:
Residential Childcare Worker and Senior Residential Childcare Worker
OVERVIEW:
As a vital member of the care team, you will report directly to the Home Manager, ensuring the daily care and support of children and young individuals within our facility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with children or students within the last 5 years.
- Senior Residential Care Workers are required to possess a Level 3 qualification in Children’s Care.
- The work schedule consists of 2 days on, 2 sleep-ins, followed by 4 days off, organized on a 3-weekly rota to be discussed during the interview.
- Induction training for the first week will take place at one of our designated offices, with all accommodation, meals, and travel expenses covered.
- Deliver fundamental care and create a nurturing, therapeutic environment to facilitate the development of each child.
- Manage the home efficiently in the absence of the Home Manager.
- Lead shifts effectively, guiding and supporting the staff team.
- Oversee staff performance and ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Monitor and control all financial expenditures in line with established procedures.
- Implement and oversee health and safety protocols, including risk assessments.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new staff members.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:

SALARY:
£13.00-£16.30 per hour
