Brook Street Social Care is actively seeking a dedicated professional on behalf of a client focused on enhancing the lives of children and young individuals through supportive services that empower them to thrive despite past challenges.

The organization is preparing to launch a brand new Residential Home for Children and is in search of an Assistant Manager to become an integral part of their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Registered Manager and represent them when necessary
  • Guide and oversee the team, ensuring cohesive operations for optimal service delivery
  • Manage staff performance, including evaluations and adherence to training standards
  • Facilitate health and safety measures, which include:
    Implementing and supervising safety protocols
    Conducting risk assessments
    Ensuring completion of essential training programs

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of one year experience as a Senior Support Worker, showcasing strong leadership capabilities
  • Possession of at least a Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce
  • Exceptional communication skills and a proactive problem-solving approach
