About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at Horizon Care and Education. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in supporting young people in their daily lives, helping them to build confidence, develop new skills, and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support young people with morning routines, including getting ready for school and preparing healthy meals.
  • Encourage and facilitate hobbies, social activities, and friendships, promoting a sense of belonging and community.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our young people.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement personalized care plans, tailored to the unique needs and goals of each young person.

Requirements
  • A full UK driving licence is required for this role.
  • Experience working with young people, preferably in a residential care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and young people.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality care and support, with a focus on promoting independence and self-advocacy.
