Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to children within a residential setting, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Residential Care Workers, promoting best practices and ensuring the best outcomes for the children.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies to ensure the well-being and safety of the children, addressing any challenges or concerns that may arise.
  • Participate in and oversee daily routines, activities, and therapeutic interventions, tailoring approaches to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience working with children/students within the last 5 years, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and support.
  • Qualifications: Must hold a Level 3 qualification in Children's Residential Care for Senior positions, demonstrating a strong foundation in childcare principles and practices.
  • We prioritize candidates with experience working with children, and we do not accept applications from healthcare workers in the adult sector unless they have experience working with children.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, manage challenging situations with resilience and compassion, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
